Abstract
This work presents the design, implementation, and evaluation of a real-time rendering engine for implicit surfaces based on signed distance functions (SDFs), along with a physics simulation engine built on top of it. The implementation introduces a sparse volumetric cache with level-of-detail support and hardware-accelerated sphere tracing, achieving up to a 36x speedup over reference implementations while consuming approximately 1GB of GPU memory and maintaining high visual quality with accurate physical simulation.
